The Proparq timber floor is stable, elastic, and resistant to twisting and warping. The support is formed by 5 or 9 layers of birch wood overlapped and glued transversely between layers. The arrangement of the wood fibres in a crossing pattern increases the elastic capacity of the multilayer, and strengthens the resistance to twisting and warping.
Finnish Birch also offers a remarkable resistance to moisture and climatic variations.
The hardwood face layer is glued to the birchwood ply at high pressure with extremely high performance adhesive, developed to provide water resistant bonds and fully compliant with the UNI EN ISO 204 CLASS D4 standards. The result is a perfect bond between the two timbers, making them virtually inseparable.
